Security Officers
 If you are looking to get your security officers licence then we recommend that you do The BTEC Level 2 in Door Supervision. When you get you SIA door supervisors licence it does cover you in any security job role and is still 4 days training, costs the same as the SIA door supervisors training and the licence from the SIA ( security industry authority) costs the same. If you where to get just the security licence then you would not be able to work in many venues as a SIA door supervisors.

Are you working as an event Steward or steward at a football match stadium, if yes then upgrade your skill and work as a SIA door supervisor or security officer at the same locations but get paid £10 an hour instead of £6
Fed up as being just a steward!! then upgrade the course is 4 days cost £150 and the licence £245 so in total £395 sounds alot but work at some of the largest events in the UK and get £10 an hour for 12 hour shifts for 4 days and you earn £480 that's you training and licence paid off already and you know there is work as your working as a steward now!
What is the aim of this course?To work as a SIA SIA door supervisor or SIA Security Guard in the UK you will need to have an SIA licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). One of the requirements of the SIA licence is that you hold a recognised qualification, and the BTEC Level 2 National Certificate for SIA door supervisors from EDEXCEL meets the requirement for the SIA Licence. The SIA SIA door supervisor course is run over four days and has 28 hours of tuition and 2 hours of exams. The exams consist of two multiple-choice papers. NOTE: If you work as a SIA door supervisor or security officer without an SIA licence you are liable up to a fine of £5000 and/or up to 6 months in prison. Who is it for?New entrants to the security industry and those who are returning to it having previously worked prior to the introduction of SIA licensing in 2004. WIll need to undertake the SIA training to be able to apply for the SIA licence. Exemptions may apply if appropriate qualifications from a recognised Awarding Body were obtained less than three years ago. Please call us for full details.
