Fire Marshall
What is the aim of the fire marshall/warden Course? This course is for staff with a designated responsibility as fire warden or fire marshall, and provides the skills and confidence that will allow them to carry out their duties relating to fire safety and emergency procedures. The number of fire wardens that your organisation requires depends on the building design and use. In addition you should train extra staff to cover for holidays and illness. It could also be seen as best practice to have all staff trained in fire safety to reduce panic and injuries should a fire occur.

What are the benefits of the fire marshall/warden training?The new regime of fire safety enforcement came into force on 1st October 2006 and affects employers and those who are responsible for, non-domestic, Industrial, commercial and residential premises. Self-employed people and the voluntary sector will also be brought within this regime. Although the course syllabus will provide you with the basic knowledge needed to become a fire mashall / warden, our instructors will also demonstrate to you the real life practicalities of being a fire mashall / warden, so that when you eventually start work you will feel much more confident in your new role, you will also increase your employment opportunities.
