Door Supervisors
 Professional SIA licensed door supervisors play an important role in creating a safe environment for young adults and other guests visiting pubs and clubs across Great Britain. They can also contribute to reducing under-age drinking. The current SIA approved door supervisor training ensures door supervisors are made fully aware of the PASS scheme. The Home Office and the Association of Chief Police Officers fully endorse PASS. The ACPO position and policy is that there are only three acceptable pieces of documentation for proof of age purposes. These are a passport, a photo-driving licence or a proof of age card bearing a PASS hologram.

All staff have been shown techniques to reduce aggression and how to spot a "Drunken Person" and with the latest search procedures reducing crime and disorder at many clubs and pubs.
All the latest holds and restraint techniques are shown to all employees on a regular basis. If the occasion should ever arrive that force is used it will be safe for the Door supervisor and aggressor alike and of course "reasonable and necessary" and that all other options had been considered.
Many of our door supervisors attend our weekly self defence classes too keep their training up to date
- The prevention of public nuisance;
The biggest problem facing pubs and clubs are the new smoking rules and the noise levels that come with them. All staff know that public nuisance is a big issue and will deal with any individuals in a courteous manner but we maintain acceptable levels of nuisance
The Door Supervisors main task is the correct selection of customers entering licensed premises and as such would of course ID any individuals who they may consider to be under 21, unless your venues requirements meant that all customers where to be ID before entry was permitted.
