Delivery of Conflict management
Level 3 Delivery Of Conflict Management
Staff who have responsibility for delivering Conflict Management Training.
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has made it a legal requirement for all security operatives who interface with the general public to undertake conflict management training. Trainers who are to deliver this programme must hold an SIA/QCA accredited training qualification.
From January 2006 the SIA will require all trainers who train candidates for SIA endorsed licensing qualifications to have a teaching or training qualification at NQF Level 3 or above.
Trainers who register for a Conflict Management Trainer programme and/or assessment to gain a SIA endorsed trainers qualification must have:
- A formal recognised teaching/training or learning/instruction qualification (PTLLS) that includes facilitation skills of group management and learning, and;
- Knowledge and working experience of the security industry and/or hospitality sector as appropriate.
